22 Year Old Ecommerce Mogul, Brandon Nguyen, Reveals the Secrets Behind His Success

In this day and age, the internet has made just about anything possible.  Marketing has gained a whole another dimension of meaning and monetization.  It has left many individuals with opportunities that prior, perhaps would have been unforeseen.  Brandon Nguyen is one example.  Now at twenty-years old, he runs his own ecommerce business establishment, Yengub.  However, it all began at nineteen and he has a lot to share on how exactly he came to be where he stands tall today.

It was not always this way.  Brandon Nguyen was not born nor fed with a silver spoon.  He was born and raised by immigrant Vietnamese parents who struggled but persevered in making ends meet for their family.  Nguyen wanted to give back to them and make them proud by doing what seemed like the right thing to do: getting a college degree.  However, plans shifted after he dropped out after the first year.  It was time for Plan B.

After dropping out, Nguyen found himself at a loss as to what to do.  He was jobless and with below zero dollars to his name.  The thought of what his next move would be plagued him for the course of the summer that followed his decision to drop out.  Google however came to the rescue in providing him an insight that he did not have prior.  After researching how to make money online via the widely used search engine, he stumbled across the concept and business model of ecommerce and decided to give it a try.  As he would have it, it turned out that all hopes to make his parents proud would not be at a loss.  Just after one year of consistent dedication and focus, he had a million dollars to claim to his name and the year after that: ten million.

Although Nguyen was lucky in the sense that he had practically struck gold within the first year, it was not luck that had led him to such a blessed predicament.  “Extreme focus and discipline is what it takes to get “rich quick” and even then it’ll still take you at least a year.  For most, it takes 3-4 years to even get off their feet because they have no focus and discipline and they are all over the place and give up at the first sign of pain,” Nguyen let on in one interview as to what it actually was that led him to be so successful.  It ultimately came down to his consistency.

Another aspect that contributed to his success was cutting out bad habits.  Prior to pursuing ecommerce, Nguyen’s college days were riddled with partying and mindless social media.  Once he launched his own ecommerce store, he knew that all of that had to go straight out of the window.  “I don’t play video games, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, and I don’t spend much time indulging in things that don’t contribute to success in business,” he revealed in his interview about his new and improved lifestyle.  He went on to say, “this focus allows me to be very creative and that is what makes me stand out from any ordinary “low-success” entrepreneur and marketer who are just doing this for money.”  He also revealed as a major pointer to those looking to follow in similar steps, “if you’re bringing the exact habits you’re taking from your 9-to-5 or whatever put you there in the first place and expect you’ll get massive results, you’re in for a rude awakening.”  The industry is very “cut-throat” as he called it and for that reason, habits are everything.  Bad habits will lead to one’s downfall while implementation of good habits on the other hand, will lead to success and Nguyen is a prime example of that.

Staying motivated is another foundation of Nguyen’s success.  After reaching a million or even ten million, he didn’t stop there.  Instead, he kept and is still looking for ways to continue scaling his way to the top.  Nguyen reflected in his interview session, “I don’t want to look back in my life when I’m on my deathbed and say, “I could’ve done more, I could’ve achieved more,” that’s just a nightmare to me.”  For this reason and more, Nguyen is now adding new additions to his business model aside from ecommerce only.  He is now shifting to establishing an educational component to mentor others looking to follow a similar path.  For Nguyen, it’s not just about himself gaining.  Rather, he is eager to give back.

In the span of three years, Brandon Nguyen has made major strides.  Just a few years ago, Nguyen had nothing but today, he seemingly has the world at his fingertips.  He is an inspiration and prime example that each individual is capable of controlling their narrative.  Just becoming one plan seemingly goes flying down the drain doesn’t mean that all others will follow suit.  Rather, one plan down is another plan opened up as Nguyen has demonstrated through his journey.  To keep up with him and his business, Yengub, check out his social media handles: YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
