Ask Perion Introduces AI-Powered Self-Service for Omnichannel Marketing

As marketers face mounting pressure to execute campaigns across an expanding mix of digital channels, technology providers are increasingly looking to AI to eliminate the manual work that often slows execution. Perion is the latest company to embrace that shift, unveiling Ask Perion, a new agentic interface designed to help marketers plan campaigns and analyze performance through natural-language interactions.

Integrated into the company’s Perion One platform, the new offering pairs campaign planning with performance intelligence in a self-service environment. Perion also introduced a companion mobile app debuting at Cannes Lions 2026, extending the experience beyond the desktop and allowing users to access campaign insights on the go.

Simplifying an Increasingly Complex Workflow

The number of platforms, formats, and data sources marketers rely on has grown dramatically in recent years. While the abundance of information has improved visibility into campaign performance, it has also made planning and optimization more complicated, requiring teams to move between multiple dashboards and reporting tools.

Perion’s new interface aims to streamline those workflows by allowing users to interact with campaign data conversationally.

Ask Perion is built around two AI-powered agents. The Insights Agent answers questions about campaign performance using plain language, drawing conclusions across metrics such as media spend, pacing, delivery, creative performance, and channel effectiveness. Complementing it is the Planning Agent, which converts marketing briefs into structured, client-ready omnichannel media plans tailored to specific campaign goals.

The combination is intended to shorten the path from campaign planning to execution while reducing the operational burden associated with managing increasingly sophisticated advertising strategies.

Bringing AI to Marketers Wherever They Work

Alongside the platform release, Perion launched the Ask Perion Mobile App, enabling marketers to access the same AI capabilities from their smartphones.

The mobile experience allows users to generate media plans, review campaign intelligence, and monitor performance without needing to be in front of a computer. As enterprise software continues to evolve toward more flexible, mobile-first experiences, the addition reflects changing expectations around how professionals access business applications.

For Perion, the release also signals a move toward making campaign management less dependent on specialized platform expertise and more accessible through conversational AI.

Part of a Larger Business Strategy

While Ask Perion introduces new capabilities for marketers, it also supports a broader operational objective for the company.

The launch represents the first stage of a self-service execution model within Perion One, giving customers greater independence while reducing the manual effort traditionally required to support campaign planning and reporting. By automating more of those interactions, Perion expects to improve operational efficiency and accelerate campaign turnaround times.

Tal Jacobson, CEO of Perion, said the new interface represents more than a product enhancement. “Ask Perion is another step we’re taking to serve marketers worldwide and help them reach their goals with minimum effort,” he said. According to Jacobson, the platform changes how marketers engage with campaign management by replacing complex workflows with a simple question-and-answer experience capable of generating immediate media plans.

He added that the launch advances the company’s long-term vision for Perion One, describing it as “a significant step forward in our ongoing journey toward a self-serve execution model.” As the platform evolves, Jacobson said the approach will help clients improve ROI more quickly while streamlining internal operations and supporting the company’s long-term growth objectives through 2028.

The Rise of Conversational Marketing Platforms

The introduction of Ask Perion comes as AI continues to reshape enterprise marketing software. Rather than functioning solely as automation tools, AI agents are increasingly becoming the primary interface through which users retrieve insights, develop strategies, and initiate workflows.

That evolution reflects a broader industry trend toward reducing friction between data and decision-making. Instead of requiring marketers to interpret complex reports before taking action, conversational AI enables them to receive recommendations and generate execution plans in real time.

With Ask Perion, the company is betting that the future of omnichannel advertising will depend less on navigating software and more on interacting with intelligent systems capable of translating marketing objectives directly into actionable plans.
